On  7-15-14 Senator Sherrod Brown introduced Senate Bill #S. 2610 to direct the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a special resource study to determine the suitability & feasibility of establishing the John P. Parker House in Ripley, Ohio as a unit of the National Park System. Congresswoman Beatty will introduce a companion bill in the House of Representatives and Congresswoman Fudge will co-sponsor that bill.
